High temperature ball CV joint grease


Special grease for ball CV joints for lateral and longitudinal shaft applications subjected to extreme thermal and mechanical loads. Universal application due to its excellent low and high-temperature behaviour. Optimum oil separating properties make it suitable for joints which cannot be sealed properly for technical reasons.

Optitemp PU 035/4 is a polyurea thickened grease with semi-synthetic base fluids. It complies with the requirements of VW TL 52 133 for high temperature greases and is suitable for automotive CV joints subjected to extreme thermal and mechanical loads. Optitemp PU 035/4 is also suitable for universal application in different types of joints due to its excellent low and high-temperature behaviour. Because of its low oil separating properties, it is also suited for CV joints which are not designed to be fully sealed.

Multi Purpose Lithium Soap Grease

Description

These are multipurpose lithium soap base greases of NLGI No.1 and No.2 consistencies having good extreme pressure, anti-oxidant and anti-rust properties. Both the greases enjoy excellent storage and service stability.

Application

The EPL series of greases is ideal for all plain and anti-friction bearings of industrial equipment used in steel plants, heavy engineering units, machine tool units, textile mills, paper mills, fertilizer plants, tea garden machinery, sugar mills, etc., particularly where contacting surfaces are exposed to very heavy pressure and shock loads. With the use of Castrol Ball Bearing EPL Greases, the service life of lubricated parts (even when subjected to heavy shock loads) gets increased appreciably as the EP additives provide a high degree of film stability to combat shock load fatigue stresses. These greases can easily be pumped through hand or power operated dispensing systems over a wide temperature range. Castrol Ball Bearing EPL1 Grease is particularly suitable for centralised systems.
