Mobilgear SHC™ XMP 320
GEAR OIL

Our Mobilgear SHC™ XMP 320 synthetic wind turbine gear oil is designed to protect wind turbine gearboxes, including steel-on-steel spur, helical and bevel gears, operating under the extreme conditions typical of wind turbines. The synthetic gear oil is formulated to offer outstanding rust and corrosion protection in applications where salt water and acidic water protection are required. 


Mobilgear SHC XMP 320 synthetic gear oil can:

• Reduce power consumption in many gear drives
• Protect against scuffing
• Resist micropitting fatigue
• Enhance gearbox rolling element bearing lubrication

This industrial synthetic gear oil is highly recommended for:

• Loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened tooth metallurgies
• Gear applications where extreme low and/or high temperatures are encountered
• Situations where corrosion may be severe

Applications
Application Considerations: While the Mobilgear SHC XMP Series are compatible with mineral oil based products, admixture may detract from their performance. Consequently it is recommended that before changing a system to one of the Mobilgear SHC XMP Series, it should be thoroughly cleaned out and flushed to achieve the maximum performance benefits.
